There are two famous stories about modakpriya Ganesha. Once lord Shiva, Parvati and lord Ganesha went to anusuya's home in the forest. Then Anasuya said that she will serve food first to Ganesha than Shiva. She served ganesha with modaks while lord Shiva with only one. Ganesha felt satisfied and burped once.
