“ Where faith shines , brighter than gold. ”We planned a two-day trip to Amritsar and stayed for two nights and one day at Saragadhi Saraay, near the Golden Temple. At night, we visited the Golden Temple to experience its night view. It looked absolutely mesmerizing, and its reflection in the Sarovar truly stole my heart ❤️. “ Here humanity is served before anything else.” We had darshan at night, and early the next morning we attended Shabad Kirtan and took Langar Prasad. The vibes were extremely pure and spiritual. People there were very calm, kind, and humble. The arrangements for devotees were well-managed, disciplined, and thoughtful. “ No names no status only souls   in prayer.” In the langar, we had rice, parshad, and tandoori dal. Sitting on the floor touched my heart deeply because everyone—rich or poor, young or old, from any caste—sat together and shared the same Prasad. Yesterday, I watched the movie Dhurandhar, and I was truly shocked to learn some hidden facts related to Indian currency and the behavior of Pakistanis towards Bharatiyas. Overall, it is a perfect movie with soulful songs and brilliant direction. The performances of each and every actor were commendable, especially Ranveer Singh and Akshay Khanna, who delivered outstanding performances. From an entertainment point of view, the movie feels authentic, classic, and deeply engaging. What makes this film even more powerful is the fact that it is based on a real story and is connected to the 26/11 Mumbai blasts. After a very long time, we have witnessed a movie of this genre that perfectly balances action, love, entertainment, and patriotism—all in equal measure. This time from Srinagar and across Kashmir, I brought back so many wonderful things—especially dry fruits like walnuts and almonds. The Kashmiri embroidery suits I bought from the Najaakat shop were truly exquisite. I also picked up Kashmiri Kahwa for the winter, and its taste is absolutely amazing. For myself and my daughter, I bought four Kirti and kaftaans in soft cotton. In fruits, I got two cartons of fresh red cherries at a very reasonable price. One of my most special memories is the stole I bought from a little child in a small village near the lidder River. The walnut fudge was incredibly tempting too! But more than the things I purchased, it’s the unforgettable moments—the hills and valleys, the fruits, the cool breeze, and the warm, sweet people of Kashmir—that touched my heart.
